Our 28th Wedding Anniversary

Wishlist for 2009

And so there is no stopping the culmination of year 2008 and commencement of 2009. Whatever it was a year for anyone of us.. happy, sad, better, bitter or just okay.. it was a year full of memories, anyway.. whatever that is..

On the whole, for us Pinoys, 2008 was just okay as we were not so affected by the global financial crisis and the yearend was punctuated by one of the most stunning upset in boxing history.. when our compatriot Manny Pacquio stopped Oscar dela Hoya after the 8th round of their fight in Las Vegas on Dec. 7, 2008. What a way to show bigheart for Manny; what a proud name to be called Filipino that very moment.

Now, let’s talk about that traditional year’s resolution. But let’s be innovative a bit. Let’s not call it new year’s resolution this time coz we’ve heard enough of this stuff. Let’s just say - WISHLIST - as they say it’s too good to be true, more often, if it’s a new year’s resolution.

Busa ang akong mga wishlist mao kini..

1. Dili na gyud ko mangutang.. (wee.. hehehe.. malikayan ba??!!);

2. Dili na gyud ko magtago kung pangitaon sa mga ‘inaanak’.. (hehehe.. kung dunay ikahatag);

3. Dili na gyud ko pa-under de saya.. (dili man daw ta under de saya.. sobra lang ta magparaeg sa asawa.. devaah!!)

4. Dili na pud ko magsige’g ilis ug number sa selfon.. (hehehe.. kung dili madakpan);

5. Andam na ko mag-share ug gugma nga ‘love’ anytime, anywhere.. (oie.. dili ko playboy ha.. I mean, let’s give love not only on Christmas day but anytime of the year);

Oww.. kamo na pud bi.. pag-share pud mo sa inyong mga ‘wishlist’ pero pag-sure ha.. nga matuman gyud na..
