Paraphrasing the Obama inaugural speech
January 21, 2009After the familiar salutation to “my fellow citizens” and a polite thank you to the man he replaced, President Barack Obama got right to the point.
“That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood,” he said.
It was an inaugural address that laid out his economic challenges with cold-eyed realism. But his remedies — equal parts hope and policy agenda — face a slew of political and practical hurdles. PGMA Resigned (New Year’s Day Prankster!)
January 2, 2009A barking news from the National Monitor reads: “Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo resigned after a text message circulated earlier detailed how she was directly involved in all the scams that her husband was thought to have initiated..” This has prompted the Supreme Court of the Philippines and Congress to declare the position of President vacant.
The position was first offered to the Pope who declined because he had earlier relinquished his Filipino citizenship due to poor health. Thank God, the Pope had good reason to turn down the offer! Otherwise, we will have a constitutional crisis.. Why? Can you imagine a President without a First Lady had the Pope accepted it?? Hehehe..! (more…)

‘Cheat Talks’ in a Birthday Party
Last Saturday (Dec. 27) was the birthday of my sister-in-law’s apo (grand-daughter). Her name is Sittie Althea Lorraine Montera nicknamed ‘kangkang’ who met my apo Fatima Alyssa Marie Mosaid nicknamed Famfam. Ooh what did you notice?
